Honestly I find quite funny this monster pack. The enemies movement pattern makes them quite unpredictable and since sometimes there's no obvious characteristics that makes a difference between each monster class, it can be quite challenging some enemy encounters. But probably, what I like the most is the ambience elements that is added to maps (like music or graffity) and the fact that these dudes have higher tendencies to catch infighting between themselves than Vainilla or other monster packs. I think the infighting scenarios sometimes becomes massive, like an open confrontation on large zones of the map xd

Theres a list of the exact types of enemies and/or factions? Im curious. Also, the militar update is gonna add more usual bosses that are not big Mechas?

If nothing of this (including 60 brave warriors) won't glitch, crash or bug - I hope (and pray to the argent gods) that update will be ready in a week. For now, enjoy this little showcasing of voiceovers for some low-tier enemies from the new faction.

Thank you for the feedback and the warm words especially, lad. I think that you'll like a few new "immersive" features like enemies now have sounds of falling down (thugs have the light-sounding "thump" and properly equipped guys have sounds of gear clanging on impact), sounds of them reloading their weapons (it also has the gameplay meaning, so you can catch them during reload slightly more easily than just waiting for them to stop shooting).

Speaking about infights, they mostly follow the original rules (all zombie replacements can infight, different monster classes can infight), but for some reason (maybe because of enemies being more agile and agressive) infights feel more intense and agressive. I think that this is the part of the atmosphere too - these evil human beings are so agressive, egoistic, "trigger-happy" and easy to angered, so they can deliberately kill their own brother-in-arms (or in ideology) if he accidentally shot them.

Unfortunately, there is no list of exact types of the enemies yet, though I'm planning to do something like this to attract more people to my YT channel (which is ironically almost the one option left for me to get some money), but speaking about factions - for now there are two completed factions - Nutzees\FAThists) and USN (Liberty spreaders). The third faction probably will be the Middle-East-Not-Moderate-Opposition cause for now they have the most completed replacements.

Speaking about "bosses that are not big mechas" - I think that you've seen helicopters in the trailer.) For now there are only them. If we don't count mini-bosses (pain elemental replacements which are so-called "Speeders" (flying hovercrafts). And one secret replacement of Arachnotron that you will find in the new update with a very rare chance (you'll understand why is IT so rare)).

BUT. I am planning to add more military vehicles in the HFE though the most problem here (as always) - sprites.

BTW, lads, if you are burning inside with the wish of helping me to develop HFE further and get the new factions if proper times (not like update that was planned for 4th of July, but circumstances got it delayed until October) - I will apreciate the help with sprites. Make me know if you would like to "work for idea" here.

Per your requests, the USN faction gameplay demo is ready. (The final product may differ from what's shown in the video, and in reality, there's three times more of it, but we can't spoil everything, right?)

A great hell of a monster pack indeed

Would be interesting if it adds the Yakuza or the Chinese Triads as factions in the future

Thank you)

Unfortunately, for now I have only few "asian baddies" sprites. Most of them are DeeDeeOz's ninjas. Honestly, entire problem with creating factions are lack of proper sprites.

Unlike most bestiary mods for Doom, you can choose which faction you want to fight against. Depending on other mods, you might get a special vibe. An example of the kind of atmosphere that can be achieved with the right combination of mods is demonstrated in this video.

ooo i love that you can allow certain sets of enemies to spawn! That will be so cool for helping to create certain vibes I wanna go for each playthrough alongside the mapset and mod, like all the enemies at once if I'm playing with Guncaster or any of the Hearts of Demons series, or specific enemy factions with something like Atom Rain X or Trailblazer.

Very cool!
