I thought a nice touch there was to make them use the same colour translation as you, the player, have picked in player setup so they are clearly your buddies. But I bet no-one noticed that. :) Shame I couldn't extend that effect to the final end of game graphic.
Heh. Not only did I notice that at the end, but the graphics on the end credits DID reflect my player color (At least on the closeup shot of the main character marine)! :D My marine uses a dark green suit.

Also, I really liked the modified colormap there, but for some reason, one shade of white got interpreted as yellow when I stepped into a non-fullbright area. :? Strange.

Also, was the railgun really supposed to replace the pistol? :?: It seemed a bit strange, although very fun. However, the railgun that you pick up didn't work for some reason and showed normal BFG graphics. :? Is this intended?

Oh dear something screwy is going on there. No, the railgun does not replace the pistol, it replaces the BFG, and you should not see any BFG graphics. I replaced most of them (except BFGGC0) and the dehacked lump should stop the unchanged ones being visible.

Check your skins directory and any other things that a launcher may have stuck on your command line if you use one. It sounds like you are loading another WAD (with a dehacked patch in it) or possibly just a dehacked patch on it's own (probably by accident). The only weapon I changed was the BFG, and even that was a fairly minor hack. All the other weapons are completely untouched, so if any of them are behaving differently, something is confusing the issue.

Oh yeah, and of course, this was made with/for 47i though I can't think of anything in it that shouldn't work with the last few versions. Just in case your not running 47i.

Oops. My bad. I loaded up a seperate weapon patch along with this one (Necro_x.wad) where the pistol uses BFG frames, and in this case, the railgun frames. It was still great fun, though.
