Is it possible to somehow briefly describe the difference between the newest available LZDoom and some of the older GZDoom versions, let's say around 3.3.
I'm having dilema which one to choose as my primary Doom source port (the one where most of my saves and settings are)
I prefer the old rendering method, with the real full-screen (not borderless window) together with old scaling and fonts, but i noticed there has been quite a lot of development to the script system and other modding capabilities, and i would like to stay as much mod-compatible as possible.
Rather LZDoom or older GZDoom?

It is just like Windows. If you stick to the old you wil be left behind. Even the latest LZDoom is quite outdated by now and no longer considered a first-class modding target.
