ya, could probably even remove the effect or limit it to 1 at a time but extra buff.Starman the Blaziken wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 6:28 pmYeah, that is right where I agree to. Saying revivify is quite underwhelming? I do like it, at least when the proc occurs on a former dead corpse. Not exactly often which is sadly a bit of a downside to it. I do feel like it could use something... But I am not sure what.

Hmm... After thing for quite a bit, perhaps the more levels reviv goes up, aside from the chance improvements (maybe tweaked?), they could be buffed more and more each level. Seems a bit fairer as the revived ghosties do only live once after all.Dan_The_Noob wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:20 pmya, could probably even remove the effect or limit it to 1 at a time but extra buff.Starman the Blaziken wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 6:28 pmYeah, that is right where I agree to. That already happens -- they get +20% damage dealt and -20% damage taken (with diminishing returns on the latter, so they never become invincible -- maybe I should tweak that, since they're now guaranteed to die after a certain time limit anyways) per level of revivification.

it almost seems like showing some of the math or at least indication what goes up per level on the tooltip might be a valuable update.ToxicFrog wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 6:54 pm That already happens -- they get +20% damage dealt and -20% damage taken (with diminishing returns on the latter, so they never become invincible -- maybe I should tweak that, since they're now guaranteed to die after a certain time limit anyways) per level of revivification.

Aw, so that revivify timer is a thing now. Liked it when they stayed around, makes them valuable until the very end when they are not causing issues I heard about. I just know as a ghost they vanish on death so anything that can res will not be a devilish bunch.
But I do agree, a more detailed stat probably should have been a suggestion of mine from the beginning, but I am not sure what you might have taken either by a constantly updating system or just static to take your priority.
Mmm, but something in me makes me think that a time increaser could make it good. Maybe in a branched upgrade, the upgrade itself, or maybe after enough it becomes available? Who knows what Toxi might think, but eh I think it would be good for the longevity for revived allies that survive the battles.

Shotguns seem to be the only weapons that work with the Rapid Fire upgrade, wierdly enough. That or janky melee weapons in other mods.

this is a good mod but for the life of me I can't figure out what min 2 means? It's part of the description in damage upgrades. What does it mean?

Re: [0.9.4] Gun Bonsai -- everything-compatible weapon upgrading
this means, for example.
say a pistol does 1 damage (it doesn't, but jus pretend)
then +20% would be 1.2 damage.
but instead, it will apply a flat +2
so it'd become 3 damage.

Re: [0.9.4] Gun Bonsai -- everything-compatible weapon upgrading
thanks for the reply. So does that mean that the min 2 will put the damage directly at 20 percent instead because it subtracts .2 So then without the -2 it would round up to a higher amount of damage? I still don't understand it.

I think the wording needs to be changed because I also didn't understand it at first, i mean who has time to read when your slaying demonsDan_The_Noob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 10:07 pmthis means, for example.

Re: [0.9.4] Gun Bonsai -- everything-compatible weapon upgrading
it's just saying that "if 20% of the current damage is not more than 2, add 2 instead" at least that's my understanding.
it's so weapons like the chaingun get a noticeable increase in damage.
I would like the math itself to be either added to the tooltips or added as an option to replace the current tooltips.

oh ok. So .2 is added in cases where 20 percent isn't .2 ok that makes sense thankyou.

Not sure if mentioned yet, vm abort also with revivificaton from the lightning tree. This is also with project brutality 3.0. This was from a thorn skill counter to revive a chaingun guy.
