Also is it possible to have the zombie bros use weapons from whatever gameplay mod you're playing?

for instance if I'm using Feet on the Ground, the zombie bros can use guns from any of the classes?

No, it's not possible, because that's not how "weapons" that monsters use work. They could wear items like custom armors (All ZDoom ports allow for that AFAIK, definitely GZDoom and Zandro), but they can't actually use weapon items. You'd need custom versions of the zombies that replicate those weapons.

This is one hell of a unique companion mod. I hope this gets worked on more or updated or more characters added in this. It has good in depth system here. Been using them a lot for my custom campaign runs. They do show promise

I like it a lot, one issue I have is that one if the zombies sometimes flickers in front of camera when player is idle.

This is INCREDIBLE! Do you mind if I use it to base or import some functions for my Alien's horde?

Unfortunately, TheAgauresAgain hasn't been around for a while so they possibly won't see your request.

Nah it's fine, when you say if they mind you just want to know them better, devs alone weak, devs together strong

Hi everyone, this is my first post on the ZDoom forums.

I want to express my gratitude to TheAgauresAgain for such a cool mod, I hope we are able to see another post of him soon.

Ever feel like your Zombros forget about you when you die?

Well, not anymore!

The Zombrothers Revive Addon is here!

This addon adds a mechanic that allows your Zombrother companions to get you back on your feet when you reach 0 HP. Instead of dying instantly, you now enter an "Incapacitated" state, and your companions will rush to save you with a defibrillator! Talk about a CLUTCH save! (Or at least they'll try...)

Penalty System: It’s not unlimited though, Each time you go down, the revival process takes longer, making it riskier and harder to survive repeated mistakes.

Features:
[spoiler]
New AI (kinda): They won't just blindly revive you—if enemies are nearby, they will provide cover fire and try to clear the area before helping, taking their turns to reach you if possible.

Bleedout Timer: You have 30 seconds to be rescued. If the timer hits 0%, you succumb to your wounds (and your Bros will react to your death if they fail).

UI Indicators: trace your "Bleedout" time and the "Revival Progress" with HUD bars.

New chat lines once you get down.

Note:
-If you feel like its not worth the wait to get revived, you can press the action key to reset the level if you want.
[/spoiler]

-To run just load it after "Zombrothers V1.1 Bugfixes.pk3"

Good to see you here with this addon man, also the spoiler is not working there, BBCode must be disabled, but very good.

Amusingly it works in your quoted text. It's simply because you have enough posts for BB Code to be enabled, and Xavier7th doesn't yet.

I guess I have to earn my BBcode then, Anyways, I got a new quality of life update for this addon:

Ever feel like you are stealing Zombros precious exp?

Well, now you can invest their losses into potential gains in the long run

ZOMBROTHERS: REVIVE ADDON 1.1

[REVIVE SYSTEM]
• Mechanics: Zombrothers rush to revive you when downed.
• Visuals: EXP Progress Bar + Bleedout Bar + Revive Bar.

[XP & MULTIPLIER]
• Player Kills: Boost Zombrothers XP (Fodder +0.005x->Boss +0.1x)
• Persistence: Multiplier saves across levels.
• Death Penalty: If Zombro dies, multiplier is halved.

[GAMEPLAY SETTINGS (MENU)]
• XP HUD: [ON/OFF] (Clean or Informative)
• Player Boost: [ON/OFF] (XP Multiplier Boost or Normal)
• Healing Msgs: [ON/OFF] (Reduce notification spam) <---Recommended

[VISUAL POLISH]
• Translucent Teleport: [ON/OFF] (Prevent blinding flashes / Couple it with "Zombies becomes translucent near player" on Zombies behavior Menu for better effect)
• EXP Bar HUD: Custom offsets (X/Y) to fit any screen.

[spoiler]
Regarding the EXP Multiplier, I've noticed how passive I've become when I want the Zombros gain EXP, so I hope this little tweak encourages anyone to play more aggresive without the remorse of stealing Zombros exp, this is like an investment on their potential gains, plus, you wanna keep them alive on the long run.
[/spoiler]

As usual, to run just load it after "Zombrothers V1.1 Bugfixes.pk3"

Happy Hunting.
