So my computer decided to brick when I was closing down slade (not the first time my computer has done this but anyway...) and I lost the latest WIP version of TAOD, forcing me to go off a slightly older version of the mod...

Also, LOVE the new look to the forums...

Gave the mod a run and gathered some feedback for you:

I think that's all I could gather from my experience with this mod.
It's pretty rough and doesn't seem very well balanced, but it's not a bad start really.
So congrats on it, with time you will improve and make this a pretty sweet mod I feel.
If anyone wants any lore regarding this mod or the f**king 2 meter slab of fur and armor with huge guns, just type 1 in the replies and I'll see what I can do.
Since you already went as far as to make a public thread about it, might as well go full out, no? ;)

Why certainly my good sir, I took a look at what you said, and I will try my best to change some of the stuff for the other version I've got in store.

Thanks for feedback nonetheless, it's just me working on this...

Also, TAOD is meant to be played in more open, larger environments.

Here's my bucket list for anyone wondering...

Change errors on startup *
Dial back the skill levels *
Slightly tweak speed *
Change ledgegrab graphics
add forcescaled to sbarinfo *
add contrast to mugshot graphics
add more fire modes to weapons
add a cooldown to the grenade launcher
make the piss useful *
nerf the chainsaw *
make the plinker more accurate *
nerf the eviscerator *
nerf the ultra-shotty *
Remove the regenerating ammo for ultra-shotty (please refer to the to-do thingy just above this one)
Adjust the stryker to make it more accurate *
Nerf the turbo vulcan *
Remove ripper flag on the revenant bullet *
Add explosive damage to hydra bullets *
"remove" NSFW graphics for eraser **
Alter the firing sequence for eraser **
Beef the cobra *
remove the executioner

*done


I will release the next update when all things on the list are ticked off.

Post name is exactly what it says on the tin, I'm doing a complete rework on the mod as a separate version which will be available in the main post alongside a zip file containing the older versions in case anyone wants to do a "evolution of TAOD (April 2022 - Current year)" or something like that. So if this mod kinda goes under for a while that's why.

I've started work on another gameplay mod called "assassins" which means that this mod will be delayed until assassins is in it's 0.1a stage (custom weapon and player sprites, as well as a starting weapon and melee option and a base for the enemies too) hold tight whilst I do that then I'll get back to TAOD alright?

Hiya. Interesting mod, though I don't think I can say too much more than what Jarewill said.
Just some words of encouragement, especially about the art. Practice makes perfect. The more you draw, the better you get.
Definitely second that bit about the NSFW content and the run speed.
Curious to see the next version.
