How do you turn off emails for subscribed topics?

I'm not sure where else to ask this.

I don't want to get emails when people post in subscribed topics. I just want to easily see what was posted in when I come to the site.

How do you disable getting emails for topics you're subscribed to? Surprisingly I'm having trouble finding how to do that.

From your User Control Panel, you'll find Manage Subscriptions on the left side of the page. Or you can click this link to be taken there directly.

I was already aware of that page but thanks. The problem is that I don't see a way to turn off receiving emails. The only option I see there is to unwatch.

I don't want to unsubscribe. I want to stay subscribed, and have those topics still show up on that page. I just want to stop receiving the emails.

You can't do that, with subscriptions.

Maybe try Bookmarks?

Thanks, I understand now. I guess I was misunderstanding the point of subscribing because it's so different here than some other forums I've been on.
