Re: Hell-Forged - Version 2.00 (Vulgar completed - P18)
I know it is asking a lot, however, in the same vein of your earlier tutorials, could you make a new tutorial of how you make the new sprites, if your time allows it.
I'm sure many mappers would learn a thing or two.

Re: Hell-Forged - Version 2.00 (Vulgar completed - P18)
I already started one actually, last year, but never finished it since it needs ZBrush, and it isn't something most people would be will to buy just for sprites. The entire process is heavily dependent on it. I'm unsure how to use mat-cap in Blender or if it even exists, although the sculpting in Blender would be more than enough to make the base. I'll get around to it after I hit some milestones for HF2.

Re: Hell-Forged - Version 2.00 (Vulgar completed - P18)
Oh man, I read that tutorial like a decade ago and haven’t been able to find it since. Are there any plans to ever finish the Ignist? I though that was such a cool monster and was disappointed it was never finished back in the DE days.
Re: Hell-Forged - Version 2.00 (Vulgar completed - P18)
Ignist was never finished. It was simply too time consuming back then to draw the thing from scratch and make it look consistent between frames. It will appear in HF episode 3, if I ever get to it. It'd be pretty easy to make now.

Are you still planning to have a female wight variant?

Holy crap that's good to hear man. I had never seen your tutorial you made all those years back (thx btw! I'm not an artist, but skimming through was still very interesting), but god damn when I saw that ignist... that is seriously one of the coolest monster concepts I've ever seen. If you're like me, being buttered up is a little uncomfortable, but it's the truth man. Shame we'll have to wait until (tentative) episode 3, but look forward to it

my caco is broken!
the slight desaturation is a nice touch. making it feel like its been dead awhile and simultaneously fitting in with the rest of the monsters in episode two.
I love how its all listing over on one side and the jaw wont work properly.
the dripping goo is a nice touch, if not quite a lot of stuff coming out though...
both an excellent idea and execution. very much looking forward to more of this'un...

I think he took all of the film ratings on Rotten Tomatoes way too seriously. Absolutely gorgeous sprite!
Re: Hell-Forged - Version 2.00 (Vulgar completed - P18)
Finally finished:
Took a lot longer because the colors weren't set up correctly on the model, so I had to paint over a large portion of it to make the details pop more. Still looks a little too red. I might change to a more brownish red.
