Thousands of years in the future, humanity has destroyed itself in a horrific war. Skies are eternally grey, and the oceans are green with waste. The last survivors of humankind (if you could call them that)
have had to twist and contort their bodies through wizardry in an attempt to adapt to the wastelands.
That's where Set comes in. Before the war, Set was a Gunsmith, a creator of exotic (and oftentimes, quite dangerous) firearms. Many of his designs were considered, at the time, impractical, overcomplicated, and
even quite hazardous. Despite this, Set was well-funded by a powerful oil baron, Brandon H. Calhoun, a billionaire patron who found a bizarre fascination in this insane man's creations. When the war began, Set hid away,
in a Lighthouse on the coast of Massachusetts, casting spells and creating weapons. Around this time, Set had converted to the religion of his hometown, Innsmouth, and became a devout follower of Dagon.
Through this, he made a pact with the Old Ones, selling his soul and life force to them in exchange for immortality. For this gift of immortality, Set was horrifically disfigured, half of his body now boney and grey.
In the present, Set has found a new hobby: Dimension Hopping. By meditating for hours and even days, Set is able to travel realms and dimensions, reaching worlds none were meant to see. One day, while traveling realms, his
attention was disturbed by a horrific screech. By breaking his focus, Set was flung far into the expanse of the unknown, losing all of his weapons in the process. He must now traverse the realms to find his way home, and hopefully,
recover all of his weapons.

Blade of Dagon - Slot 1
The Blade of Dagon is a sacred blade passed to Set after giving his soul to the Old Ones. Being a sacrificial knife, it's not necessarily super powerful, but it's incredibly dependable.
Bladed Jezail - Slot 1
This weapon was made by taking an old historical weapon, an Afghani Jezail rifle, and converting it to fire .44 Magnum.
As well as this, because Set figured it was not deadly enough, the weapon has been outfitted with a 20th-century American bayonet attached to a pulley mechanism that vibrates and pushes it back and forth.
Gyrojet "Banger" 3-Round Burst Handgun - Slot 2
This weapon was made by taking a .50 AE Handgun and converting it to shoot Gyrojet Rockets. The Gyrojet ammo itself has been modified with a small explosive charge.
The weapon's safety has been completely removed and has been replaced with a selector switch, making the weapon semi-auto / 3-round burst.
12 Gauge Shotgun with "Extra Features" - Slot 3
This weapon was made by taking a 12 Gauge shotgun and giving it various unusual attachments. Outfitted with a compensator and an extended magazine,
the weapon has a tight choke and reliable accuracy. It however has an additional strange feature: a Nozzle with a gas tube going back to the stock, with a gas cylinder duct-taped to the back. This weapon
has a flamethrower Alt-fire.
"A SUPER Super Shotgun" - Slot 3
This weapon is quite unusual. Originally a standard triple-barreled shotgun, It has been heavily modified, with a gigantic bolt grafted on the back, making the weapon
a strange, sort of "semi-barreled" action shotgun. On top of this, the weapon has been given a large lever on the bottom, which seems to open and close the weapon. Despite the implications of this design, however,
the weapon can mysteriously be both operated by the lever or by simply grabbing the handles on either side of the bolt, meaning this weapon system is somewhat ambidextrous?
XM8 "Pulse Rifle" Prototype with Experimental Pocket Grenade Launcher - Slot 4
This weapon is surprisingly quite standard, with one incredibly strange attachment. The XM8 was an American Army Prototype that never made it to service, and was typically meant to be able to carry a grenade launcher on the bottom via a sort of "clip-on" system, where you could place an attachment by clipping it into a hole on the gun. All of the holes seemed to be filled in on this example, however, as well as the strange caliber change from 5.56 NATO to a custom 6mm cartridge that seems to be custom designed for the weapon. Because of this, the Grenade Launcher is instead carried via an extra holster, effectively turning it into a pistol. The grenade it fires seems to have, rather than conventional gunpowder in the primer, a mysterious red sap that is warm to the touch. This seems to have strange effects on the projectiles it shoots...
8-Round "808s and Heartbreak" Revolving Rocket Launcher - Slot 5
This weapon seems to be a heavily modified M202 Flamethrower. Rather than firing an Incendiary Rocket, the weapon's internals have been modified to house a cylinder that rotates after each
shot, effectively making it a sort of "rocket-revolver". The rockets appear to be housed in a gigantic casing, similar in appearance to a tank shell. It even comes with a gigantic cylinder to load the weapon, which is loaded from the back and falls into place.
"Naku's Special" Experimental Plasma Firing Gun - Slot 6
Just before the start of the war, the US military began to experiment with more electronic weapons. The weapon uses an Electric charge housed within the furniture of the magazine to dispense an intensely hot compound, classified as the first "plasma gun". Because of this, all prototypes of this plasma gun have large heatshields and barrels, to ensure that the user does not burn themselves on the weapon. It contains an automatic system for stopping the weapon from firing as the weapon is about to overheat. This particular example has been modified with parts and furniture from weapons from the Japanese Empire, in particular the Light/Heavy Machine Gun designs such as the Type 99, 13, and 92. On the stock, a message has been carved: "Naku's Special Present".
"WTF-1000" Experimental Anti-Materiel Weapon - Slot 7
Another example of a prototype American weapon. With furniture taken from a Minigun and repurposed M16 barrels, this weapon was meant to shoot a gigantic Plasma blast. However, after years of modifications, this weapon has had the Plasmatic cylinder replaced with a cylinder containing a mysterious green liquid. According to Set himself, it's "The holy blood plasma of the Old Ones". V1.5: -Rewrote and added states to the Assault rifle to make using the altfire feel more intuitive. -Changed the Bars on the Shotgun altfire and the Plasma Gun to new designs that better show how hot your weapon is. -Added extra states for more smooth transitioning on the Jezail. -Fixed the Super Shotgun glitch where it reloads infinitely. How did I miss that? -Fixed a small continuity error in the Super Shotgun. Shells now fire and reload in the correct order. -Made hitboxes + margins of firing on the pistol and plasma gun smaller to ensure that they don't get snagged on walls or windows.
