Gotta get around to finally replying to some of this stuff. Glad to hear people enjoying the mod!

if you would like some free sprites, you're welcome to use what i have so far... pm me.
as for your mod, I think it is very nice, but vanilla monsters are not a great pairing with this mod - not sure what you would recommend.
I think most of the issues with this mod if i have many are the sprites, and the lack of a zoom feature - a realism mod you should HAVE to look down the sights for accurate fire.
But i really like this mod, i look forward to updates, and i think it's time that another tactical mod besides hideous destructor comes out like this and changes things up a bit, but not too much.
I actually whole heartly disagree on the ADS front; the mod assumes you are already in a proper stance, and the human characters have no kind of zoom function in their eyes. As for monsters, I recommend DRLA Monsters, they offer some interesting challenges to overcome while you go through levels. Just beware Nightmare Archviles!

I mean, that overall quality not gonna drop drastically, but entire size can be reduced from ~102 Mb straight to ~67 Mb...
By the way, this mod is very cool, dude! Is this a successor of "Soldier Z" or just parallel project?
Also, how can i drop ammo and some medicine? I grabbed it so much that it dramatically pinned me down to the ground.
Check the on screen instructions to toggle Drop Mode and drop some of your stuff. As for its relation to Soldier Z, its kind of a spiritual sequel. Soldier Z was going to get a bunch of updates to make it harder, but I decided to turn those updates into a completely new mod instead. For whom it may concern, Soldier Z is non canon but FOTG is canon to the HODverse.
File size is something I'm not super worried about, but eventually I'll get around to optimizing the mod's size. There are a lot of redundant unused images too.

hey guys and gals, finally back from my Elden Ring related hiatus to release 0.0.3 of the mod! Big thing here is the introduction of Bodily Damage! When you get hit, a body part is picked at random (chances are weighted) to take damage on top of you taking HP damage. If a body part is damaged enough, you suffer drawbacks based on the body part: Head is impaired vision, Body is a slow bleed, Arms are greatly increased recoil and Legs are reduced movement speed. There are two tiers to the drawbacks based on how badly a body part is injured. But don't fret! Medikits heal all your body parts by a fixed amount and by more as they heal your HP, and using blues to get your HP above maximum gives you body part regeneration.
its been tested and tweaked pretty extensively, but I'll be keeping my eye on feedback about it to make sure it isn't too punishing. Thanks for playing and as always, keep me posted!
next update is gonna be bombastic. Also check out the new poll. It will stay up for 3 weeks, after which I will decide what to do with this particular issue. it keeps coming up so I figure I'll poll it.
also also, Im currently seeking coding help with getting the mod to work in multiplayer. If interested, please DM me or hit me up on Discord
Looks cool! Love seeing some environmental destruction.
One thing I was wondering, would it be possible to eventually swap out the world sprites for the weapon drops so we can just see exactly what we're picking up? It can get confusing sometimes to have a generic SMG icon and forget what it was until grabbing it.
-Demonic corruption added. Using magic items now builds up corruption, with enough corruption you gain a Demon Level and the corruption clears.
-C4 can now bust doors and certain other environmental objects.
-Greatly increased C4 damage
-New bar on the HUD tracking Demon Level and Corruption. Replaces the vertical weight bar.
-Removed helmet from HUD
-Large screen cracks will now only appear on Severe head health
-New small screen cracks added on Wounded head health
-Rebalanced Fam gain on single shot weapons.
-Added a key icon to the HUD
-Tweaked some HUD positions
-Redrew Familiarity stars
-Screen blood from Wounded body health is now less subtle
-Fixed Wounded Legs slowing fall speed
-Added Field Enhancements, a new benefit unique to each character when at maximum Familiarity
-Field Enhancement added: Even faster reloads
-Field Enhancement added: Combat Software, enabling critical hits for 50% more damage
-Field Enhancement added: Weapon Braces, removing all recoil
-Field Enhancement added: Hellfire Rounds, increasing damage and adding an explosive effect
-Launcher spawns now give fireball ammo
-Added player sounds
Obvious big thing is the addition of corruption. JK no one cares about that, the real star of the show is C4 now busts doors. Intended progression? WHAT'S THAT? If you can't tell I'm pretty excited about this particular update.
So what's next? I'm currently looking at revamping Weapon Maintenance and am still looking for help making the mod multiplayer able.
