Yet Another SNES Music Pack

Post by PokeParty445 »

Hey all, I'm far from actually finishing this little pack I'm making but I figured I'd post it for anybody who is interested!

Credits to TerminusEst13 for the actual code, as it is based on Now That's What I Call Midi. Also, a minor shoutout to Cryomundus as their pack gave me the idea to make one more personalized for myself! Go check out their pack if you haven't already, it's much more themed around what would fit in doom than this one is: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=49073

All the music and its information (like composer) come from:

Just like any other thing based on Now That's What I Call Midi, this should be completely compatible with gameplay wads and maps.

Unlike Cryomundus's pack, this one is more or less the entire soundtrack of the games I choose to put in, with some exceptions for songs I really didn't feel like fit, or were so ridiculously short that they weren't worth putting in. And most of these are from soundtracks or games I'm really familiar with, as this is more for personal use than anything. Right now there are only 5 games and 77 songs in total. Of course, this is far from how many I plan on adding, I just figured I'd release it now for anybody who was interested!

The games included as of the most recent version are:

Mega Man 7
Mega Man X
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Donkey Kong Country

Without further ado, here's the download link: ... sp=sharing

And for anybody wondering why I'm releasing this so early, well, I am open to suggestions on what I should add! Of course, I have plenty in mind (Earthbound, Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Dream Land 3, Super Bomberman, etc, etc) but, if there were any you'd like to see, feel free to suggest them!

Also if you're looking for a gameplay mod where SNES music really fits well with gameplay, try Highway Acceleroid Booster, it's another big reason I wanted to make this:
