While playtesting our project a while back, one of my playtesters mentioned the XBox 360/One controller input on Windows x64 is buggy and not working very well. I just now got around to testing it. I don't have another controller to play with to rule that out.
It appears the thumb sticks aren't working very well for me. I had trouble strafing around and moving back and forth using the Left Thumb stick.
I normally don't play with a controller.
I dunno if anyone else can independently verify this. I dunno how long this has been going on either.

Re: [4.4.2] Controller issues
You're gonna need someone who owns such a controller to fix it. I don't have one and cannot check what happens.

Re: [4.4.2] Controller issues
I'd have to test GZDoom, but it's the same code as Raze and my Xbox controller is solid there and I've done extensive testing.
Can you please try any game under a devbuild of Raze as a comparison? Don't try the current release, its controller code is non-functional.

Re: [4.4.2] Controller issues
I tried it with Raze in Duke Nukem 3D and the joystick works as expected.
I think it's a mod specific thing. I just tried it straight up and it works. Let me follow up with the actual cause.
EDIT: it appears to be a mod specific issue. However this still poses a problem for me so I'm gonna start another thread. This can be closed.
