Font Help for WIP Mod

Hello,

I've been having trouble creating a font lump for a Mario 64 based sprite mod I am making.

in imagetool.exe, i get the following error:

looks like it's reading fine, but nothing is processed.

And in Spidey's ZDoom Font Generator, when I try to create font lump from image, the image loads fine but when i try to save it, the progeam gives a nil error.

here is the font image made into 256 colors:
