Re: WAR TROPHIES (1.11) Give up your soul for extra points

Projects that alter game functions but do not include new maps belong here.
Forum rules
The Projects forums are only for projects. If you are asking questions about a project, either find that project's thread, or start a thread in the General section instead.

Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!

Projects for any Doom-based engine (especially 3DGE) are perfectly acceptable here too.

Yup, this was the problem. Thanks. I thought "None" meant "No Filters", set it to "All" and it works perfectly.

How do I put my War Trophies stats in a different GZDoom version?

Assuming you use a different .ini file for the new version, as if you used the old one, the stats would remain.

In your old gzdoom.ini file, locate wt_stats_weapons_kills, wt_stats_experience, wt_stats_prestige lines and copy them to your new ini file to [Doom.ConfigOnlyVariables.Mod] section.

Used this with The False Angel and it didnt display the name of the gun on the lite hud nor did it display at all when I went into the card and such.

That would mean the gun has a blank tag (that's the part that's checked by the UI), because a weapon that has none should fall black on the class name.

You'd have to check with them, I suppose.

Hello everyone, is there a way to add a custom font to War Trophies? I wanted to add Jimmy's MemenTwo font.

That was something I considered adding. You can look at the Zscript for the display and see where the font is referenced, then extend the font option in the WarTrophies option menu.

Also noticed that certain explosive weapons in mods arent classified as explosive weapons and as a result, any kills that arent direct impact kills and not caused by the explosion doesnt count

I noticed this happens with the Target Detonator in HDE, tho IDK what other guns off the top of my head

That's because of how pointers are handled by those weapons, rather than being tagged explosive or not. If your weapon fires an explosive projectile directly, it should be fine. Things like satchel charges like you're describing may not be passing pointers back properly, so WarTrophies doesn't know you killed anything with it.

I'll have to check and see if something like the C4 from Final Doomer counts kills from direct impact or from the explosion. Think its the former.

Do you know how to manually add actors to the blacklist? I can get to the WT_Blacklist.zsc but from there I'm a bit lost. Mostly just want to blacklist DoomRPG's training dummies.
