Looks absolutely spooky and impressive! Also it feels really like he's from the 2000's anime. I love where this mod is going. The speed and the weapon feels nice and quite powerful. However, i've got some gripes to tell you:

Re: (WIP) Eternity Blitz
The new testbuild is out on the Eternity Blitz discord server https://discord.gg/rcFYchF I have decided I am going to release all the testbuilds on the discord server and ZDoom will be where I go to release all the stable versions. With that being said, here's a couple of new videos of some new things in that testbuild I will have a lot more to show in June:

Re: (WIP) Eternity Blitz
It's definitely getting completed, I guess the main factor is money right now though. In other news I wish to announce something that's got me pretty excited. We have decided on a team name for Eternity Blitz we are calling ourselves "Azure Lunation", we don't have a logo yet however, I have broken up the team into 3 categories and hope to eventually get some more members along the way. You may not recognise some of these names and that's okay. Some of them haven't been involved in the doom community yet.Captain J wrote:Oh hey, Jimmy actually is making soundtrack for this mod. Re: (WIP) Eternity Blitz
The theme of the game is futuristic/retro future but I wouldn't use either to describe it, it does have a distinct feel to it.
Also hello everyone, it's been quite some time. Unfortunately I have not gotten as far as I would have liked to this year, however significant progress has been made since the last version and so I am considering releasing the next test version on these very forums which is currently stable and would have originally only been posted in my discord server (https://discord.gg/rcFYchF) which is where I have been sharing a significant amount of my progress.
Here is also the changelog since the previous versions:

Spoiler: Changelogs
Spoiler: New VideosAlso, here's some concept art for a character named Velo Zweigutt that would have been player 2, she is still a major character in the story and I still have hopes of adding her in as a player 2 some day but until then, here is the picture:

Re: (WIP) Eternity Blitz
Hey everyone, today is the day where I release the most stable version I have of Eternity Blitz, the next 1 will be an IPK3 meaning it won't require Doom or any IWAD to run so look forward to that. I am releasing this version earlier than I intentioned as I am taking a break for the rest of the year only working on small things like bugfixes and the like, I also released it early because I want people to test it and see how much they can break my game. There are some things that are of note though and you can find them below:
EDIT: It's been noted that some people are having issues with google drive so I uploaded it to mediafire: Mediafire Download
Spoiler: things of noteWith that being said here is the new file: Google Drive Download

This mod is awesome ..like I remember it ..
I have a few questions..
Did you implement PBR materials ?or is it my PBR mod ..cause normally my mod does only change vanilla textures ..but when I play many wall textures are reflecting light ..
Also ..are there 4 weapons in total ?

Re: (WIP) Eternity Blitz Testbuild 2.0
This currently isn't designed with any compatibility in mind seeing as I am not actually treating it as doom. So yeah, you may experience issues with other mods. There are 3 fully programmed weapons in total, (4 if you count the kick) if you go into the Museum (dev room) Which I left unlocked so players can discover the names of all the new items. there is 1 of the weapons which behaviors I was testing, it acts like a rapid-fire weapon and I have plans for it in the future, I left it in there because to be quite frank I forgot it was there.
I would also like to add that I have no desire to make things compatible with Eternity Blitz, it's completely up to the mod authors if they want to implement their systems into Eternity Blitz or not. I don't know if I've said this in here or not but I'll say it again Eternity Blitz will not be a mod, it will be it's own game.
EDIT: So with the criticism I just got on this version there is still so much to do, here are the things I've taken note of and things I've fixed.

Re: (WIP) Eternity Blitz Testbuild 2.0
Actually I would never think of criticizing your amazing game ..
I really like it and love the idea ..
And compatibility with other add-ons is in most cases given ..
I use these her for ALMOST ALL mods ..
Mobility movement add-on (for sliding and double jump)
Droplets (a blood /gore /Gibs add-on)
Critical hits (for headshots and critical hits)
PBR materials (reflecting textures)
Dark doom z (cause of the nice flashlight)
Slow regeneration
Low gravity
Glowing liquids
And a few small other ones ..
I know that changes the overall gameplay of the original ..but in my case it only is improving my gaming experience ...and isn't that why you play all together? To have a good experience?
So to come to my question I asked in my last comment ..
Which was no criticism in any way ..
Do you use any reflective (PBR) textures in your game ?
Also ..I am really looking forward to play more of your awesome game ..

In addition I'm also adding a disclaimer to the OP.NachtIntellect wrote:This currently isn't designed with any compatibility in mind seeing as I am not actually treating it as doom. So yeah, you may experience issues with other mods.
Nope.Ferretmanjcdenton wrote:So to come to my question I asked in my last comment ..

Nope, but I've always wanted to set a game in a place other than the usual places so I picked Germany. I've got someone helping me with the translation of some guns and enemies of whom is also German.Ferretmanjcdenton wrote:Also ...I was wondering..are you German ?
