Re: [mini-mod] Universal Automatic Continuation 1.4
Weird maps like this (maps of chaos) that just copy DOOM1 and 2 maps are really strange and hard to keep up with. My apologizes on any confusion, still, this map set is a lot of trouble when dealing with the script I'm trying to write, and really not worth the headache behind it. If you don't like mark, fine, but you'll need a different solution to deal with MoC, cuz I'm not touching that.openroadracer wrote:And his name in and of itself explains the entire reason I'm not touching his stuff.Dinosaur_Nerd wrote:SGT_Mark
P.S.
Sry if all this seems harsh, if you have some other map pack that needs continuation, you may feel free to suggest it here.
If you wish to attempt adding the maps of chaos stuff in your own private copy, you are welcome to try.

Here's the map checksums for the current, bleeding-edge build of Project Brutality.

Did you try GCV_UAC and it failed to work correctly with Ultimate Doom?
The Ultimate Doom is the very first map set that was included and tested.

Try re-downloading your official copy of The Ultimate Doom from Steam or GOG.theJuilesyboy wrote:wont let me finish doom 1, no problems from e1 to e2, but wont continue on with inferno

Try it with no mods and see if it works.theJuilesyboy wrote:still the same maybe its the mods i am running.
If it does, the mods you're using are jacking it up.

Would it be possible for the mod to aim back at EP1 to create a loop?
Could be fun to play with ever increasing difficulty monsters and levels in RPG mods and the like...

Great mod, but it seems that when I play with John Romero's E1M8b, I will not be sent to E2M1.

(Sorry for late reply.)
Sounds like a pain, probably not.CopperBoltwire wrote:Would it be possible for the mod to aim back at EP1 to create a loop?

(Just use RPG stuff with compendium for endless grinding mode, also, what RPG mod actually increases difficulty with progression?)
Of course you wont be sent to e2m1 with that, romeros E1M8 remake is a different map, but I can probably add it, since it comes from romero.JohnnyTheWolf wrote:Great mod, but it seems that when I play with John Romero's E1M8b, I will not be sent to E2M1.

Re: [mini-mod] Universal Automatic Continuation 1.4
BorderDoom has monsters continuously get stronger; either per map, or scaled to the player's EXP level. And that's just one example...Dinosaur_Nerd wrote:...also, what RPG mod actually increases difficulty with progression?
