There's a new Ai upscaled mod from Grandgreed, they are amazing, we just need as you say to Ai upscale the modded sprites/textures.

Lets continue this in PM Irontusk, I have some ideas.

I played this back in the day and it's nice still see people add/modify/update this.

I have the original and DLC, but since I just joined, I can't send messages yet. Could you pass that along to me?

Hello Zyllos hope you are good.

One of the main updates is that we fixed the CTD issues, on map8 the game would crash out. Its now fixed.

Something also to ask, I am having an issue with the .ini file saving the incorrect keybindings.

Like, I will bind "G" to UseFlechette but after I leave the game, it will be removed from the bindings in the ini and in the game.

There are other keybindings that do this, but some of the keybindings work. I have completely rebound all keys (I use ESDF instead WASD) and those are correctly updated in the ini.

Is there something I am missing?

I have the same problem. But I 've also encountered several others:
1)Second hub. Few seconds after I got there and every time I returned the game started to spam error messages:

2)Stray lightnings launched by lightning arc's main fire mode sometimes get stuck in level's geometry and stay there indefinitely.

3)MAP25: Dungeons. After I finished the part where you have to press the same switch few times, ettins start to flood nonstop. Is it intentional? This mob makes the game unplayable.
4)Could you make wounded ettins die after some time or at least make their moans less annoying?
5)Bloodscourge. First time I assembled it it just disappeared after few shots. Also if I switch to another weapon, I can't switch back to Bloodscourge again. Having to gather all the parts again for just few shots would suck.

When playing this mod Coop I get a game braking desync issue every time. I've gotten base hexen to easy work coop, but have not been successful making coop work with this mod. I've tried extratic and network 1 and 0 and different variations of wad/pk orders, but nothing has worked. I suspect that the weapon and familiar golem selection at the start of the game is causing the desync issue. The desync causes the players to appear to be running into walls and enemies to be in different locations for the different players and really nothing that moves or can be interacted with is in the same state for both players.

I've been looking for a solution for a while now, any suggestions?

Is there possibly a simple console command which could solve this issue?

I know I just posted (maybe double posted because the mods have to approve the post), along with the desync issue, does anyone know how to change classes while in the game?

While playing Coop, the ZDL launcher just kind of throws the players in after where the character selector would have happened. I've changed classes in the options, but that doesn't apply till the game is relaunched and then it applies the change to all players depending on what the host picked in the previous game.

Yes it is intentional, it happens in vanilla Hexen. You are supposed to flip the switches, loot the items and run out of there and never return.

Regarding the key edits resetting, let me look into this, you could edit all the keys, then quit the game and set the ini to 'read only' while we work this out. Thankyou for this update.

Thanks again for this info, I've never seen this before, how very strange indeed? I believe you are using the recent version of GZDoom? To be honest, I haven't updated in a few months so let us update GZDoom to diagnose.

Yes its intentional, kill as many to level up and get the hell out of there.

Yes indeed, some more dynamic sounds would be great, we need to find some demon sounds libraries.

How strange? Thanks for this info, I'll look into this.

So regarding the coop, I did setup a LAN coop and tested for 30mins, no desync occurred? We did use the Ressurect mod to revive players, this may help.

I would like to pass along an interesting issue (that I was able to get around).

A few times in Caves of Circe, after I had went down the pit and into the room with the Helm that is a trap, there was an afrit that activates in some dark caves to my right. Sometimes, not all the time, I would get a crash to main menu with the following error in the console:

VM execution aborted: tried to read from address zero.
Called from Bat.A_BatMove at gzdoom.pk3:actors/hexen/bats.zs line 118
Called from state Bat.0 in Bat

Based on what I can maybe think, the afrit moved outside the map or into a spot that causes it's AI logic to do something to memory and locks up? This might be a gzdoom issue instead of your issue.

Second,

Is there any type of Readme.txt or anything that explains what each stat line does, what level you need for each weapon and their alternate attacks, and how many different modes are there of attacks?

It's hard to tell if I should even be putting points into Tactical Mastery as I am unsure what it even does.

Either way, the game seems great so far. Great work!

How very strange indeed, thanks for providing the error message that's good news at least, we will look into this, any CTD issues need to be prioritized.

Tactical Mastery if my memory serves me correct is critical damage, also each weapon and alt fire will state what level you require. Just fire the new weapon or alt fire to state the level required.

Hi, how are you? The mod is great, but I have seen errors such as the launch of the green flask that in all 3 classes is the same (warrior arm), also a cleric kick error that sneaks in at various times. Healing that goes well. I hope they continue with the improvements for the 3 classes. Thank you!

This mod is great, but I noticed some flaws in the sprite, for example, when a mage throws green, then for some reason a fighter hand appears, and not the mage (
Further, I would like to note that my FPS is lowering due to a large amount of blood, I would like you to fix it all in the next update, I was glad to play this mod, thanks for earlier.

the amount of blood causing lower FPS is a Graphics card issue.

Hello and thankyou for the replies.

Regarding the artwork/sprites for the Flechette Bomb, yes indeed this will be updated on the next patch.

Regarding the blood causing issues, what is your CPU and GPU can I ask? Never seen this before its solid 60FPS. Even in VR its solid 90FPS.
