I really like this mod as well as Kriegsland 1, but would it be possible to have the akimbo/cross weapons not be selected as normal weapons, and have akimbo/cross activated by a key push? The current setup is kind of a pain in the ass to cycle through the arsenal, and using this with a weapon wheel like Gearbox is just not feasible.
Maybe you could have akimbo activated with one key, then for cross, you could push a key to "lock" your current selected weapon, then cycle through the arsenal normally with the mouse wheel (or weapon wheel) to select your secondary weapon. Pushing the "lock" key again while cross wielding would holster your secondary weapon and go back to the single wielding the original weapon you "locked".
Also, would you consider adding an option when duel/cross wielding to have both guns simultaneously fire with only 1 fire button instead of both?

I see you requested this in the Spawn mod as well, so i'll get into the technical details to prove i am not trying to fool anyone :lol:

The akimbo/dual wield/synthfire script is a hell of a hackery. It relies on using both the "Flash" and the "Fire" state from the weapon to display two sprites at the same time, and using some checks to see which button was pressed, so it can display the sprites individually (some sprites needed to be defined in the TEXTURES.txt, but that's not relevant now). Making it firing both guns at the same time sounds more reasonable, never went to it actually.

Making that weapon "not selectable" is not on my range of knowledge (although Marisa Kirisame achieved this in Soundless Mound, very probably using ZScript), and being the akimbo an entire diferent weapon (it's not in the same actor as the single one), i don't think i can "hide" it =p

Sorry if this sounds like a NO, but i just wanted to present my limitations to the problem. And yes, i myself don't like scrolling through 9 different akimbos before going to the actual fun =ppp

Yeah, sorry about asking the same things in both threads. I realized I did that after posting in Spawn, and was going to remove it from here afterward, but figured it was applicable to both so I decided to leave it. Also, no need to apologize for anything at all, even if it did sound like a NO (which it didn't), it's your mod and your call, and I'm 100% okay with that. That's too bad about not having the knowledge to make dual weapons not selectable, but it is what it is. If it would be possible to have an on/off option to have them fire simultaneously like you said, that would be rad, but also okay if isn't something you feel like doing. Those were just my suggestions to improve this mod and Spawn (according to my tastes), but not things needed to make them great since they already are. Sorry again for asking the same thing twice, I wasn't trying to be a doosh.

Just wanted to clarify, because there are so many things i can't accomplish due to my dumbness it sometimes seems like laziness. I mean, i am a lazy guy myself, i just sometimes can't do stuff so i don't even try :lol:

So I just downloaded this, and my screen keeps flashing white. I can't figure out how to disable it. Can you please help me?

I was playing this map: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KqDX70SYyI and it doesn't seem to give me any trouble with any other weapons mod.

It's probably an issue with the teleport effect. Try playing it with Doom vanilla and using a teleport to see if it has the same effect.
