Is the version required still 4.3.3? Wont launch getting unable to load shader parallax.

No, sorry, I forgot to update it.
In any case it's always best to use the most recent version.

Yup ended up figuring that out :)
Played the new demo on stream new level looks amazing although i was getting big frame drops, not sure if it was because i was streaming or not but those frame drops were mostly happening outside with Vulkan and open GL. With specs like mine was a bit surprised considering im running a 3700x and a 1070 but hey :)

I tried the second demo! I really like what's been done with limbotropolis and i think the trumpetbuss is neat... however, i'm getting unplayable FPS on serenity shrine. I can only get 5-10 fps on it with 800x600 resolution, although i am using a rather old computer, so that might have something to do with it. Removing the lanterns with the console helped a bit, although disabling dynamic lights didn't... i'm not entirely sure what the massive lag is coming from.

I really enjoyed this demo but i think Serenity Shrine needs some optimizations, i was having quite a bit of lag but it was still playable.

this is completely unrelated but i'm curious as to what you're philosophy on level design is when making these levels?

jusy beat the demo pretty much and it was very impressive! There was some cool scripted sections I found impressive and the new enemies and revealed returning enemies are a welcome addition. There was a good amount of lag in the new level though as others have mentioned so some optomisation would be nice. The trophies are cool too with some noticable refrences to other doom mods. Overall good stuff and I'm happy to see what comes next

Spoiler: Feedback incoming!
So i played the demo and... Yeah. I also had the same problem with the heavily dropping frame rate, especially at the Serenity Shrine.

Other than that, the demo's rich, and it's really good. Nice job! It was indeed worth playing it!

These are the recommended requirements for optimal performance
Spoiler:
That said, the mod's also being tested on weaker pcs (AMD Ryzen 5 3550H, an intel I3), with results around 30 fps for that level. I'd suggest you to disable the extra lights in Options/Golden Souls 3 Options and run the game in Vulkan (Especially if you're on AMD hardware)

I think it would be cool to have switch between sprites and models for items that can be picked up,maybe it will add optimization
