Oh no no, please don't beat yourself up! You're already experienced with the doom modding since you know how to make maps and use ACS codes which i still don't know how mentioned things work... Hah. Also i see the player have smooth animation during attack and that's really impressive.

Anyways you have talent and huge patience to work on project full of various features. And you have sucha cute artstyle too! Just take your time!

Support. He has an outstanding talent! Better late than never, as they say! Aleksandar, do your projects at your own pace, as you want. A high-quality project is better than a package of buggy trash. 38^)

Thank you :D ! I really like some of that stuff there - I will keep you in mind if I start working on a new similar project like this. I'm trying to wrap this one up.
Please do keep me in mind! I did play just like I said I would and this game is a blast! I hope you do reconsider polishing this one. If you did a commercial release ala Hedon at that point I'd totally support you!

I only remembered about you yesterday when I decided to visit your website with Arts! I also didn't forget about your "Decadence", which I happened to write a short review on (You can look here: https://doomguy.ru/community/topic/deca ... evshij-mir). Almost 2 years have already passed and I would like to know: is the project abandoned or is it still in development? And then I often became interested in the development of all sorts of projects on DOOM in order to notify about innovations.

And what happened to most of the Arts on your site? It's like almost all the old content has been erased... :(

Hello! First I'd like to preface - thanks for taking interest in my mod, and my arts!! I am very humbled that you decided to write a review !!!!! Thank you so much !!

On topic of my website - - Now there I have mostly newer and better arts, to better show my current art. I have a gallery button that archives more and older arts. But after looking through your review, I think I know what art you mean in particular !

I think I'd call the Decadence 'finished' instead of 'abandoned'. I decided to finish it in this "okay" state instead of polishing it forever... However, I did learn a couple of modding things recently (I'm currently working on a new gzdoom mod), and I might update Decadence some day with a new HUD and such... 🙂

Ahem, to address some points about the review !!

-The shop/money had a bigger use in the game, but (as you know) the RPG open world gameplay which had bigger use of money/shops was cut halfway through... I was hoping the player would just forget that he picked up money all the time !

-The inventory problem! If I were to be making this mod now, I'd probably figure out a better way to do this - such as, show the inventory at all times on the screen. I watched a youtube playthrough of the demo version, and the player did not know they were picking up health items. So I decided to make the health be used automatically, and not confuse the player with an inventory...

-Hehe, you are right - the breaking stones were 100% inspired by prince of persia !!!!!!!! 😁😁😁 I was really proud of using these platforms for levels. It was a lot of fun and made mapping a lot more fun.

-Dungeon 1, 2 , Arena levels and Tower were added because the story levels were too short... I am glad you liked them! (except for the platform level, but I understand your hatred towards it!) 😅

I'm really happy you decided to play through this mod and write a review about it, even though looking back it's not a perfect game. If there's anything else you meant to ask me, I'll give you my contact information in private message !!
