Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

GZDoom help with "very fatal error"

Post by Klavito »

Hello. :)

I need help with this error.
I've been playing ZDoom, however, I downloaded GZDoom. It seems like the vanilla versions of the games works perfectly, but when I try to play the Brutal Doom v21 mod, the game usually crashes between the change screens (new game, load, next level and death).

Here is the crash report. I would be very glad if you could help me.

Hmm. Rather a lot like this other report, your crash is in your video driver and not in GZDoom itself. Are you able to get an update to your video driver from your computer (or motherboard?) manufacturer?

I'm sorry because I don't know much about this, but by update do you mean buying another graphic card, or to install a software update on internet?

In the simplest possible terms, a driver update is just software you download and install. You don't need to change any hardware. We would probably be able to help you more if you could tell us what kind of hardware you've got, though, like your processor, graphics, and operating system, or if it's a pre-built system, what the model number is.

I'm sorry because my sistem's language is in spanish. That's because it is my native language .
I case you need me to translate something, just tell me.

I think I've found the Drivers page for your motherboard and OS. I believe the file you want from here is Intel(R) Graphics Driver Package (win10 64bit) Version v15.33.38.64.4252, though that file is dated October 19, 2015. Still though, it's probably the safest bet to install it anyway, especially if you don't quite know what you're doing. See if GZDoom still crashes after you've installed that.
