I would like it if there was a way to enforce random pitch, either on individual sounds through SNDINFO or in mapinfo/gameinfo.
I'm interested in this because I've noticed that many effects in my mods sound really bad when played without it.
I always assumed that by using $pitchshiftrange and the like it would be enforced, but that's not the case.

Considering that explicit sound pitch setting in A_StartSound and friends was added, this should be closed.
