Re: [Side scroller shooter] Operation Echo (2nd demo release
ok I got one complaint: I can't aim diagonally, and because of this it makes using the shotgun kind of useless at times
also the joystick works in game but doesn't work in menu.
personally, it would be nice if I had freeaim and can shoot wherever I want regardless of what direction I was going, but I understand that would mess withe the gameplay you're going for.
still, this is great. id play the hell out of this.

Thank you for playing m1lk! Most of the issue was fixed or revised for better gameplay in development version.m1lk wrote:ok I got one complaint: I can't aim diagonally, and because of this it makes using the shotgun kind of useless at times

This is so awesome!
Thank you for all the inspiration, projects like this one prove to me Gzdoom's power is limited only by the developers' imagination.

LinkCore
Introducing Link core!
Link core is power storage. 10 years have passed since it was abandoned, but it still works If you have an energy resource.
Just shoot arm cannon, It will absorb the energy and start to transmit the power to other machines.
The more strong attack will work Link core faster!
You can use this as a weapon while in battle.
I will show how this works as a weapon in the next post.
