Be patient, it will eventually come. Besides, everyone has their personal stuff to deal with, it's better, that it comes later, instead of being rushed and unfinished, despite having a bunch of talented people working on it.TaporGaming wrote:Wait. In after summer... It's late now

@TaporGaming: If you want things on a deadline, it will never be as good as it would be polished. Otherwise, just be patient.

What Rachel said. I've been working on my personal project on and off for the better period of 10 years and only now am I getting to a point in the development where I can say that...
"Yeah I'm, happy with the direction I've taken this thing in, I could release a finalized build and call it done and not have the urge to go back and do more."
//Shameless self plugging aside, Good things come to those who wait for them![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

Elementalism. Phase 1 release date: March 5th 2022!
Note: Crosspost from Doomworld.com (original post here)
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that after four years of hard work, Elementalism Phase 1 is nearly ready, and will be released on March 5th 2022!
This has been an absolute labor of love from everyone involved, and it will be incredible to be able to share everything we've made with you all. I can't wait to have you all play it!
In celebration, Bauul made a new release date trailer!
The mapset is basically finished, but the plan is to have the version released on March 5th to be as complete and final as possible, so the next two and a half months will be entirely dedicated to testing, balancing and bug-fixing.
If anyone would like to be part of the internal testing process, please drop Bauul a DM. While he'll keep the number of testers at least somewhat limited just to avoid it all being overwhelming, he'd be very grateful for any offers of help!

This looks pretty cool and fun, will be checking it out for sure. However, I'm going to be honest; I don't think Doom's monsters or hell aesthetic fit with this elements aesthetic at all. Still, as I said, looks fun and clearly lots of work was put into it!
EDIT: also, I just realized I bumped this old-ish thread on its stated release date. sorry.... I haven't scrolled through map sets in a while and didn't realize how old it was

I guess this is the closest we may ever get to an Avatar: The Last Airbender first-person shooter! ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

I finished the Earth section, pretty amazing stuff! I had chugged frames in certain places but it wasn't unplayable. Two feedbacks:
Spoiler:I love the boss design on Earth encounter. I can't wait to see more! This is exactly the kind of boss design this game (or any Bethesda Doom game for that matter...) needs.
