Corner automap

Take a look at this, from here.

Ooh, an automap overlayed in the corner!
I think it would be cool of ZDoom had an automap feature similar to this, as I find the normal overlay automap to get in the way at (all) times.

Hmm... An addon to this would make a good deathmatch radar style thing

This has been mentioned a few times and the AlphaHud source port modification actually implemented an automap in the top right of the screen to look like the (you guessed it) alpha hud. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find it on the forum.

A small corner automap would be far more preferable to the big overlay most of the time IMO.

I actually played with that for the editing stuff. Wasn't sure. Pretty easy to do, although what I did was just a quick experiment. Most of the work is actually putting it in as a menu option. Will try that out again after some of the other mods get done.

I'd use it... if it auto-scaled to always show the relative location of other players in cooperative mode.

It would also be cool if I could use it similar to camera-to-texture.
