Original Doom Hi-Res weapon animation redraw project (WIP).

For high-res texture/sprite projects, sprite-fix patches, music add-ons, music randomizers, and other graphic/sound-only projects.

So, here comes the 8th version of doom weapons 4x pack. The download link is in my first post.

Added rocketlauncher animation, some minor work done on the previous animation.

Nice, I really like that pipe on the right side, I would suggest you to edit only the right side of the sprite because this frame is done in a symmetrical manner.

Yup, already way ahead of ya on that one... I do however tend to edit both sides and mirror the best looking one as its sometimes much more comfortable to work on the opposite side for certain things.... And that pipe on the touched up side, just happy little accidents as Bob Ross would say haha ;)

Looks awesome in game, cant wait to see the bfg.
Just wondering, do you plan on trying your upscaling techniques on the pickup sprites aswell?

I saw a work where pickups were already 2x scaled and repainted by hands, can't remember where though, just some while ago.

Another version has been uploaded! Added 70% done BFG, some shotgun frames were polished.

Thanks, I think doom hi-res pack isn't ready yet to get to the other games. But yeah maybe in the future.

Dear "Darkcrafter", I am very closely monitoring your project. You are doing a very cool thing! Very many thanks to express.
There are several questions about the details. Whether here as in the original. You improve with each new version of the sprites and it's clear). I hope you get to the most accurate transfer of this sprite. The original sprite machine gun is not all gray, there are rusty places. But you know it better than I do). Also I'm interested in the disappearance of the word "BFG" in the new version of the sprite.
I'm using your sprites in the PSX DOOM FOREVER HD project, do you mind? (this game was transferred by Russian developers in 2000, I'm saving it from bugs, since I really like this mod.) My first shooter in life.

Glad you like it, I think you may use it the way you want. Yeah it's not perfect, there are some flaws, but I do it when I'm in the right mood. Thanks for the "BFG" hint though.
