Project Beauty

This a big addon for Beautiful Doom. For all those who would love something like Project Brutality and Beautiful Doom to be combined. (Without fatalities or lots more weapons, of course.)

The code between the two here is basically the same, so not much is different and this addon's spawn system is the same as PB, and the monsters have blood and effects and from Beautiful Doom so that it blends perfectly for the player to enjoy. Unfortunately, due to my basic skills with sprite art, they don't have custom gib props.

And yes, unlike PB, this needs Beautiful Doom to work.

Q: What's this?
A: Well...y'know! An addon that adds more monsters to Beautiful Doom!

Q: No new weapons?
A: The only new weapon is a rifle. Yes, it can zoom in and will stay aiming if you hold the AltFire button. Having Vanilla weapons enabled will disable it entirely, though.

Q: Spawn system?
A: There is a random spawn setting and a progressive setting, like PB. So far, only Doom 1 maps have dynamic progression. I only recommend random if you are looking for unfair challenges...

i was thinking this is something like DooMHD Sprites or somethig like sprites filtred, but its great... BeatifulD feels a little simple without other monster's...
But i think that's the original idea... for the autor of course...

Half small, half big update time.

- Added Eriance's Cybruiser!
- Tidied up the credits a little more.
- Replaced the old screenies with newer, lively ones.

Little big update.

-Added a rifle! To zoom in, just hold AltFire and it will stay there until you let go, and it will fire a accurate shot.
-Fixed the zombie scientist spawning zombieman gib props even when gibbing was not enabled.

Now go away. Nothing to see here.

And sinceraly i use a lot of addons , doing my own packs on zdl (.zdl) so, i think zdoom voxels is not compatible... well just look sweet
and i use QZ 1.3.0.1

Hello my folks. I'm sorry about being away from this for months. I just lost motivation, but decided to come back to this so it'd...well...stay maintained. About the gib props, I've abandoned that quickly. I don't feel professional enough for it. Maybe in the future, at least soon, I'll come back to that concept. For now, I'll take care of bug fixes and issues. Suggestions too. :)

I am sorry for this bump, but most especially sorry about having to kill yet another project. (This one.)

The smooth update has me thinking about how much little pixels I'll have to put to all these enemies to make THEM smooth.

Possessed zombie scientists, dark imps, plasma zombies, snake imps, zombie marines, SSG zombies, cybruiser, the list goes on.
On top of that, there's now brightmaps for the original mod.

I'm very sorry if I let anyone's expectations down and disappointed more people. :-( But I have a backup already: A project that does not rely on any Gameplay Mod. It's also vanilla styled, so yeah.

Move this thread to the land of the dead...

I guess its beacuse this is for an older version of Beautiful Doom... I guess its for the 6.2.1 but as we seem, it's not the last version. And i don't really know if Jekyll'(Creator of BeautifulD) have any mirrors of this versions in his topic of the mod.
