Well, for what it's worth here is the full release: http://www.mediafire.com/file/pdkn65501 ... isited.zip
Enjoy! And remember, this requires 3DGE and will not work with (G)ZDoom.

Out of interest, what is it that makes this incompatible with GZDoom and therefore need 3DGE?

Re: [RELEASED] Operation: Arctic Wolf Revisited
If you do so with GZDoom, it will just running the Vanilla version with all the textures replaced and the arctic wolf maps will not run properly due to monster placement ( see the Archviles spawned in the water at some maps and Cyberdemons spawned somehow out of bounds in a few maps)Korell wrote:Out of interest, what is it that makes this incompatible with GZDoom and therefore need 3DGE?

I'd like to play this mod but 3dge doesn't seem to work. I have Doom 2 in the same folder as 3dge, but whenever I click 3dge.exe, the prompt pops up and does nothing.

Re: [RELEASED] Operation: Arctic Wolf Revisited
EDGE/3DGE uses something called DDF, a script-based system for defining behaviour of everything in the game. It is unique to this engine. While perhaps not as powerful as say Decorative, it is very easy to learn and understand.Korell wrote:Out of interest, what is it that makes this incompatible with GZDoom and therefore need 3DGE?
Which version are you using?edgymemester wrote:I'd like to play this mod but 3dge doesn't seem to work. I have Doom 2 in the same folder as 3dge, but whenever I click 3dge.exe, the prompt pops up and does nothing.

You linked a bunch of 3dge builds in the OP, I'm using the latest one of those.CeeJay wrote:Which version are you using?

Re: [RELEASED] Operation: Arctic Wolf Revisited
Try 2.0.4 Final: https://sourceforge.net/projects/edge2/ ... 20~Final~/
It's the last stable release. If it still don't work, It might be something blocking the program like an anti-virus application. I know mine interfers when I try one of the builds for the first time.
You can also visit the 3DGE forums here: http://www.tdgmods.net/smf/viewforum.php?f=3 for further help and assitance.

Re: [UPDATED] Operation: Arctic Wolf Revisited
A proper scoring system is probably not possible, a make-shift one could be coded by using ammo but it would only really display on the HUD and nothing else (see Wolfenstein 3DGE). Besides, there is no treasure items, no intermission, and no lives.

This is so cool! It really brings some new life into an old classic.
