I'd love to see something that works like a Disc of Repulsion because that'd be a lifesaver in a wad like Ancient Aliens. Only problem is, I can't imagine what it'd replace.

Awesome idea to megawad specific weapon mods! 8-)

Uzis are the most satisfying guns I have ever fired in videogames. Sound is perfect!

TNT guys shotgun has a bit wonky sprite, barrel seems to be too thin.
When strafing, maser ray moves from the center of the screen. I belive it is engine related?

Waiting for next ones... :thumb:

The Disc of Repulsion is an reflecting item from Hexen.

The laser is actually coming from the player, not from the weapon sprite itself. And laser can't hold its position when the player moves really fast. So i guess it's engine related.

That doesn't mean it can't be recreated as a weapon. After all, two of the Halderman Device's functions are based on items rather than weapons.

Not sure if this is because of devbuild explosiveness but it seems like regular doomguy is messed up. Pickup lines are for plutguy and you don't actually pick them up.

This mod is designed to be run on stable 2.8.1 releases, devbuilds break class checking stuff.

Originally that was what a lot of it was going to be based around, but it's pretty much been dropped at this point. We go through a looooot of ideas when brainstorming this stuff, heh.


The devbuilds breaking stuff should be a thing of the past with 2.0, as I've returned to the stone age rewritten the class checking stuff.


All three HUDs are 99% done now, so now we're powering forward to fill out all the weapons. Going very nicely so far.

well, i'm still thoroughly convinced that the simple Maser beam is dealing significantly less damage than the other ones on GZDoom 2.2.0. like, at least needing twice as much ammo to kill something compared to the other beams.
