Hi there.
Kind of a noobish question: Is there a way to re-use an attachment I've uploaded, but never used?
For example, for example, if I'm making a post, and have already uploaded an attachment, but lost web connection or something like that, do I need to re-upload the file when I get back online?

Re: Re-use attachments?
You have to ask an administrator to recover it for you. Otherwise it just appears in their "orphaned attachments" panel. (I am sure a board like this one has quite an extensive list on that page...)

Thanks, Eruanna!
Thats a pitty, I guess. I mean, it is a waste of space in the forums and so.

I thought there was a way to check attachments from your User Control Panel?

Re: Re-use attachments?
Only works if the attachment is active and valid. If it's not in a completed post, it's considered orphaned until you hit the submit button.
However, there is an exception if you edit the post. So if you are afraid of the forum losing your attachment, you can submit the post with a short message saying that you'll be editing in your message intended for the attachment, and then go back and edit your post and complete it, in case you lose your connection.
