Bobby Prince apparently has cancer

If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

I remember seeing him in the old iD Software home vid talking about the music he made for Commander Keen as well as his reactions to John Romero playtesting Doom. He seemed like a jolly good fellow.
I wish him a succeessful recovery should he undergo treatment.

Which of his songs would be the saddest in tone? Doom 1's Sign of Evil comes to my mind for now.

But European food is much more heavily regulated (thank god) - and everything doesn't always automatically include salt, sugar, or preservatives. Even "crap" food is healthier than the stuff we have here. And they've quite well proven that anything can taste just fine without it.
Food is heavily regulated here in Denmark, and while it's fairly expensive, even the cheap stuff is more often than not of a good quality and sometimes even better than the more expensive alternatives.
It's pretty funny how that works.

I wouldn't recommend following the same rule of thumb anywhere else though.

Well I'll put it this way -

In the 3 months that I spent in Sweden, I lost about 10kg (~22lbs). Gained it all right back in 2 months after being in the U.S. again.

I think that says something.

Really is sad to see, while Prince may not be the BEST music composer in the video game world, he is definitely one that had the passion and was always able to get the feel of the game world in his music. I hope he manages to beat cancer somehow, even if it is a bleak outlook.

It's not just food. It's also what you drink.

Best of luck on his recovery though.

Sign of Evil surely does have that feeling of hopelessness, that the end is near... but remember... we go into Episode 2 kicking ass to E2M1... I SAWED THE DEMONS! The demon being cancer, if you didn't catch my drift. I wish Bobby the best, and I sure hope he can saw that cancer away. Hang in there Bobby.
