Something wrong with scrolling textures. Help please.

Something wrong with scrolling textures. Help please.
I put a scrolling texture (action 48 in Doom Builder II) on a wall and it works fine. But I try to make a small sector and it just isn't having it. What's wrong with it? Does anyone know why this doesn't work?

Wait, you're trying to put scrolling texture on a sector floor/ceiling? I need more info.

Its on a small circular sector I have made, to emulate a barber's red And white stripe pole. I put the stripe texture on the outer walls of that sector and choose scroll but they remain static?
EDIT: OOOhhhh so sorry I figured out why. I had the linedefs facing the wrong way. I had them facing inwards rather than out.... i actually didn't realise you could only animate the front sides. Thank you Lud for your time, I really do appreciate it.
