CRT, LCD or LED monitors?

I wanna hear which monitor type you guys prefer, and why you prefer them other the others.

LCD all the way for me. Easy to set up, and no burn-in.

Heh, I was just buying myself a new monitor last night and this topic popped up. I've been using a Dell ST2410 for the past 6 or 7 years and it is finally starting to die. I just bought a BenQ XL2411Z since it seemed like a reasonable upgrade (still waiting for it to show up). LCD or LED monitors are usually the way to go these days.

It really depends on the application. For most stuff, my LCD screens do just fine, but most console games prior to the high def generation look quite a bit nicer on a tube television, in my opinion. Then there's the issue of light gun games like Time Crisis 2...

If I had money and space for it, I'd probably want a high-quality flat-screen CRT just because I hate viewing angle issues when working on my photography. That said, I understand a high-quality LCD or LED solves those issues (along with poor color reproduction and contrast/black level), but again it's a question of money. It's really hard to justify spending $200+ on a monitor when I can get something functional and "good enough" for <$50 used in my local classifieds or thrift stores.

I don't think I've ever even used a "nice" monitor.
