The sprite in MetaDoom is the one I made for DUMP3, and it was my first original weapon sprite. I'm sure improvements could be made, but I like to think I kept reasonably close to the original.

I won't be dramatically changing the design to make it COOL AND EVIL AND 2 BRUTAL but I'm pretty sure it'd be easy to add cvars to disable "alternative" weapons and enemies spawning, so you only have the traditional weapons against the traditional Doom 2 enemies.

Could you make it so that you could have an alternate skin for the holy water pistol in the cvars? I think that would satisfy everyone here.

Not everyone here has an expertise in sprinting here.

Some just want to play fun mods.

I bet chaingun will definitely happen, and guass cannon as well... I think!

That's fine. It looks cool in any way. Golden, rich and scientific at the same time without being sacred!

Glad to hear it ^^ Just don't make a boss that can be killed only by the soul cube ! That's just awful bad design, noone in the professional game industry would ever have that idea right? Especially with a mythic boss, like, say, the Cyberdemon :)

Bad design indeed, it should not be. And glad doom 4 came out and you actually can kill bosses with everything you have. Also other games except doom 3 as well.

So i don't think you should kill them with only soul cube, but it'll deal the great damage to them! Just my thought.

Don't worry. No monster will require the Soul Cube to be killed. The design I currently have written up, it'll basically take on the "panic weapon" role that the Chainsaw and BFG do in the new game.

Ahah, I hope so :P No seriously, I don't know who at id could have come up with such a terrible idea. Wasting the awesome cyberdemon for a lame wave-based boss where you never actually attack the demon... that sucks

(I know you won't want this. :P) I just basically replaced the first frame of the shotgun, and I am half tempted into making the muzzleflash a water spray.

EDIT: Apparently people do not get this is a joke. Well, the "I am for hire" thing is a joke.
