Looks awesome from the last video ! Although I must say, the holy water gun seems like a joke weapon in this mini-collection/gameplay mod ! So I think it would be nice to have the option to remove these ;) Because other than this the mod looks real nice

The holy water pistol appeared in doom 2 rpg. It scared enemies away, allowing some breathing room for you to heal, use nano drinks, or fight someone else. You could also drink from it to restore health and scare all nearby enemies. It is not a joke weapon. It is an effective tool you will need for survival. Especially in ultra nightmare. The health boost may be a life saver.

Never played Doom 2 RPG but seeing the animation of the enemies fear when using it in D2 RPG reinforces my feeling of a joke weapon :S A yellow plastic water gun doesn't feel very Doom-y ! Being in the most non-canonical Doom game further reinforces that xD But that's just me. Still an option to disable it (since it does not really fit) for those who want it would be nice. I understand those who would keep it though

Doom 2 rpg had a less serious tone. In kinsie's mod, enemies will burn and scream. It does fit looking at the fact that the uac are batshit insane, and the idea of shoving a holy, sacred artifact in a children's toy is not far off with a company that weaponizes demons "for a better tomorrow".

Besides, kinsie was looking to implement the crazy, obscure stuff. If you don't want crazy stuff, go play d4d with darkroom and the flashlight mod.

Besides, when the evil and unholy stuff exists, the opposites; holy and sacred stuff could be existed either. So it sounds not bad for me.

i can see drones being useful for long segments of you having to walk hazardous liquids, like Limbo in Doom. anything to lessen the pain of those segments would be fine by me, especially considering you actually use it that way in Doom 2 RPG, albeit only... once, for some reason.

I only voiced my opinion but you feel so offended you had to "make fun" of my comment ? Not nice. Just saying what I think. Any mod with a lot of customization have been praised for this, now I ask for the possibility some customization for my tastes (and possibly others not voicing their opinions) and I'm made fun about for it?

Well many people, including here, agree that Doom 3 is not Doom-y at all. It has doomy features, but it sure as hell isn't doomy at all gameplay-wise, and yet it bears the name Doom ;) Not mentioning the fact the RPG serie is a non-canonical spin-off, so there was absolutely no reason to amke the game Doom-y, except for the general atmosphere ! Now this is again just my opinion, and I understand you disagree if you liked the game. I'm not asking Kinsie to redevelop its whole mod, just to add an option to remove the few less serious stuff out for those who want to ;)
