Buddy Dacote is spelled wrong. i also always went with Doomguy, myself.

Lack of a "you" option is disappointing since Doomguy is supposed to be you. :\

In the absence of that I find myself going for Doom Slayer.

I like Stan Blazkowicz since it's the only name (as in first name + surname) he's been given to in a game (Doom RPG II), and because I like the idea of him being related to BJ.

He was an enigma, he didn't really need a name, but if I really had to choose it would be Flynn, that is the first time I discovered his name in a book.

Doom Slayer? never heard that one before, but as for the rest I think it is safe to say with each game, spin-off, novel etc it is entirely different marine, some can even be canon with each other. I use to look at D64 was existing in the same universe, but a different marine.

Doom Slayer and Doom Guy are my favs but I'm a really big fan of the movie too so I really like John Grimm as a name.
