If that's the case, then some of the puzzles may be useful for him. Anything but illogical King's Quest-style cryptic crap, which are next to impossible to figure out!

This is one of those cases where I think you should do some works of your own as practice, before trying to sign up for projects that are likely going to demand more than you can deliver at this point.Hellsmith1 wrote:Kodi looks like your in luck here because I love making level puzzles, designing, and writing skills but it depends what type of puzzle do you really want.

Re: Finding a writer for a project?
Why not? It's a perfectly valid criticism, in a context like this. As much as I can understand wanting to jump on the defensive over someone being negative about your skills, I don't really feel like that's the thing to do here. It may be wiser to bow out for now.

@reactor
Cool ideas; should work well for a Winter's Fury type megawad. Though inspirational they won't really work here, since there isn't even any combat for starters.

Yeah, I personally prefer puzzles that are grounded in reality or at least follow internally established logic.
@wildweasel
I'll set up a google doc as soon as possible!
You and anyone else interested in this can add me on Discord (kodi#4067). Seems like a good site/app for group chats.

Heh, no problem
If you wish, I can ask my henchmen as well - so far they thought up many puzzles which do not involve combat at all, albeit they may involve firearms or explosives here and there. The crane riddle was Zsole's idea, for a starter. They loved Fighting Fantasy books in the past, so we might just have a shot at this thing...
As for storytelling, it's not THAT difficult either, however, what is easy in Hungarian language can be fiendishly difficult in English, and vice-versa. I also have problems with my plotline as well, especially since I need to use both gangsta-slang and Old English simultaneously...phew...
I'm glad that you agree with me in the aspect that a well-written storyline is very important in a project!

i wish i had good writing myself though it would be stuck and limited to bot's contextual chatlines. would love to have them more fleshed out (and by fleshed out i don't mean more animu flesh sticking out)
