There's no reason why anyone would've used 0.l instead of 0.1.

You answered this yourself:

Look closely. l and 1. That should be 0.1, not 0.l.

It was a typo (how, I don't know, probably errant copy-paste) but it was never caught because there was no runtime warning. (It got cast to 0, passing 0 implies "use default" which is... 0.1 anyway.)

The error itself isn't what's laughable, but this is:

I find it most troubling that after almost half a year, this bug still hasn't been fixed in the mod.

The "it works for me" mentality is impossible to break through, I guess.

Only one I can find is this. But considering that Sgt. Mark IV said he lives in Brazil and that this is a German keyboard (made in 2004, no less)...

Here in Hell (Brazil) there's only QWERTY keyboards now, if Mark typed l as a value for that, he did it intentionally.
