Me too, this didn't happen to me either, when ever I play it on ZDoom, or GZDoom.

Redownloaded it, loaded the cfg, used both ZDoom and GZDoom, same issue every time.

That's very odd... Perhaps it's the problem of IWADs like Doom.wad and Doom2.wad?

I redownloaded doom2.wad and tried again, same result.

Let me guess... You made an addon for this mod because of only Wolf3D easter egg? Yeah keep modding but that.

Are you sure? Because the Breakable Walls are fine in my GZDoom 3.7.2. Try to update your GZDoom! Also it runs completely fine in ZDoom, just let you know.

completely random... but would it perhaps be possible to add a special 'kid mode' difficulty where the bosses are easier & could be beaten by a young person that's relatively new to shooters?

i used this mod as a way to introduce my 10-year old newphew to first-person-shooters, and he surprisingly picked it up really fast and was having a blast & laughing at all the silly nonsense
.....untill he reached the first spider-cat boss, which even on easiest just proved downright impossible for the kid due to the boss's fast movement and frequent rapid fire.

and even me, a seasoned veteran who has been playing doom for 25 years, died a few times on the same boss (on easy) once the kid passed the controls over to me cuz it was simply to hard for him.
and i am by no means a bad player in the slightest, i always play shooters on the hardest possible difficult cuz i love me a good challenge. ive beaten OG Blood on extra crispy difficulty even, in SP.

.

so would it perhaps be possible to add a special 'kid mode' difficulty which is otherwise identical to easy, except for bosses being less of a threat? like, make them move slower, attack less frequently & projectiles do less damage?

so that a younger person who is relatively new to first-person shooters and doesnt grasp the concept of circle-strafing yet could beat the bosses too, with some challenge but not to much,
so the sudden spike in difficulty of the bosses doesnt abruptly grind their game to a halt, which potentially ruins their fun and it might put them off from wanting to continue playing
