2 Windows upgrades in a week because MS couldn't be arsed to get their anniversary update out 3 days earlier.
And these icons are terrible. We got 16 million colors to choose from, but let's use less than 100 of them. Great time to take away features too MS. Let's prove the tinfoil hat people right that'll win 'em over.

Pretty sure you can still customize most icons the same way you always could.

The only thing I'm afraid is that Windows update wants to update my graphics drivers, and my gpu is REALLY unstable with drivers updates...
I'll bee so pissed if my drivers get updated and I'm not being able to use my notebook >.< (like yesterday when the driver decided to just show a black screen, crash here and there,...)

Yeah that is a good solid reason not to upgrade to Windows 10 unless you can find some way to block updates. (Actually, turning off the "Automatic Updates" service is enough - but then if you install other hardware it might not work since Windows hates using generic drivers for some reason).

Did anybody figure out how to stop Windows from covering the screen with "Windows was unable to reach the update server" errors in that event?Eruanna wrote:(Actually, turning off the "Automatic Updates" service is enough - but then if you install other hardware it might not work since Windows hates using generic drivers for some reason).

Re: Anyone Regret Updating to Windows 10?
If people must upgrade, i recommend the LTSB version (or SKU) of Windows 10:
"Windows 10 Enterprise Long Term Servicing Branch (LTSB) is similar to Windows 10 Enterprise but will not receive any feature updates, gives companies more control over the update process and is the most stripped down edition of Windows 10 available."
It comes without all the bloat, not even with the EDGE browser, and you can disable telemetry and updates for real.
In addition, one can also put all Microsoft domains into the Windows HOSTS file, to prevent calling home...
LTSB doesn't need any updates, maybe except the Media Feature Pack, which installs the Windows Media Player and a few codecs.

Now the all important question: How do you get that version? Microsoft seems hell-bent to keep it out of the hands of private users.

Looks like you can get an evaluation copy here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcen ... enterprise
I imagine you'd need to pay out the nose for an Enterprise license though.
