I don't know. In my opinion, it really shouldn't matter if you're gay, straight, bi, questioning, trans, drag, single, married, divorced, polyamorous, what really matters is, are you having fun? Life is too complicated without all the needless labels people use to discriminate.

i don't remember this either; i know there are test tubes of nude men later on in the mod, and they probably even had visible genitalia (!), but nothing about homophobic content. maybe it's tucked away somewhere, i dunno.

now in Action Doom 2, there's a mob boss in the local gaybar, and you beat up his Village People-esque gang of "fuckbuddies", but i don't think that has anything to do with homophobia. it just so happens that the local gaybar is run by a mob-boss, and he sends his gay henchmen to beat the shit out of you. it could've been a regular straight bar and you beat up his ensemble of chicks instead and it wouldn't have made a difference.

If it's about that, I'd imagine it's because they're based on the Village People rather than anything else. I could see how that could rub someone the wrong way.
