Don't you just love Next-Gen gaming?

If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

This game was terrible in hindsight.

Worst game in the classic series.
Opinions. :U ((I don't want to start an argument so please.))

On topic though: I'm somewhat worried that Doom 4 was just overhyped by the looks of it and seeing the pre-release beta reception isn't helping much. ...Also I think we know how other mascots are doing.

Finally, from what I heard, Mighty No. 9 got delayed AGAIN, So it seems to be suffering DNF syndrome.

If you keep focusing on mascots then you'll notice most of the talk about them is loud yelling of biased opinions.

Also all that's been pre-released of Doom is just Multiplayer, which is outsourced to Certain Affinity, rather than the Single Player which is developed by ID.

i think the new Doom looks okay, and the majority of the negative criticism comes from a bunch of wankers. :p i certainly can't see this game flopping THAT hard, especially since the new Wolfenstein games were actually pretty good.

The new Doom does look fun. Apart from that I don't really keep up to date with new games, although Evoland 2 is probably the newest game I've played and that's pretty cool and nostalgic. I just never saw what the fuss was with all these popular FPS games (Cod, Halo, etc...). I did love STALKER though, although I guess some would class that as old now :D

Mind the invisible walls and relatively linear level design, but the combat is good fun and the graphics are much better than I initially thought they were.
