How do you honor Doom?

...How does a company rip off its own franchise? And why play not both?

I was 6... and even then I didn't abandon Doom for some new technology game, At that time of 1996 everyone was abandoning Doom and going to Quake, that's the point I was making. Maybe it was different in your country, but after Quakes release in my land fps fans split into two rival groups, Doomers and Quakers. We stood by our game, keeping it alive despite the breakthrough graphic enchantments.

I wrote these.

Invested a hell of a lot more time and effort into them than any fanfic deserves, let alone a trilogy. Even made a print version so's I and a few other doomers could have it on the bookshelf.

Heh, that reminds me, I wrote some Doom furry/anthro fanfic a few years ago: Project Dark Fox drew a sketch with an anthro version of Daisy (the "Doom bunny") living with her owner/adoptive father Adrian Romero, with the joke that she'd be about sixteen now. I took it and ran with it for a couple "chapters." Was pretty fun.

By still modding it I suppose. I dont own anything doom related IRL. However, I've been wanting to get a shambler plushie since forever.
