DUMP Episode 1: Fuck Time Limits

Just got through playing this under Burl Tumd. Absolute blast. Yes, even with the OP Archviles. Thankfully Nazilla uses his own rockets @.@.

So I found the secret map almost immediately and it's the first one I played. Critique!

The raising "bridge" sectors could do with a different texture on the sides. Besides making it more obvious what's happened, it's also a quick reminder that you can use them like lifts. (A trick it took me a second to remember, heh.)

The "boss": I did several circuits of that room, trying to induce the boss to destroy those blocks, which was the gimmick I expected. Finally I saw the switch through the gap and tried shooting it for lack of any better idea. I was surprised that did anything, since those switches aren't shootable anywhere else in the map.

It would be neater if the block(s) responded to explosions. Could move the exit one back to the wall, and put a secret behind the other. (Invulnerabiltiy sphere?)

Also, the fuzzy renderstyle doesn't really scream "invulnerable to attack", could I suggest additive? If you use up all your bullets/shells before realizing they're doing nothing, it leads to a frustratingly unbeatable state.

Personally I'd also block the guy from coming onto the ramps. Makes it too easy for him to corner you in the exit hallway and snatch victory from your grasp.

Lastly, the exit room itself: Keens look a bit naff in a sector too tall for the actor, since the broken rope detaches from the ceiling and just kind of floats there.

When I played this with Samsara 0.31 beta with the monster randomizer, for some reason the weapons, when I went into a stage after I beat one, were still there despite the fact that that worked (and the only one I was allowed to use) was the meele weapon and the pistol. I played with B.J. Blaskowitz and the Ranger, so I don't know about the other classes.

Also, you need to put the Dump file first, because when I put it last I was Doomguy when I picked B.J. Nice Wad, though.
