I am interested, i like how advanced these effects are. It lags the hell out of my Celeron(R) (YEAH, I GOT THOSE), but i love it. Downloading

Yeah, I'm with GAA on this one. There's plenty of cool things this mod does, but simply firing the super shotgun causes my potato laptop to choke and die.
Maybe release a patch with subdued effects? I particularly find the amount of smoke and whatnot to be unnecessary (partially because I don't think guns make clouds of dark smoke when fired, maybe a little bit of white smoke or whatever) but I digress.
The other thing I would suggest altering is the casings used by the pistol (they're just tiny rifle rounds) and giving it an altfire/special mode - as far as I played I couldn't find any upgrades for it.

Also every weapon (I hope) will have an upgrade in the future, including the pistol.
Version with subdued effects sounds pretty cool... I'll see what can I do with that.

Glad if I could help! Also, this is quite blatantly a request but do you plan on implementing the repeater/burst rifle? I feel like the current HAR isn't particularly good for longer distances...then again, it's Doom. You're expected to spend most of your time in close quarters.

Well, HAR has a scope, that increases the accuracy a little. But I think that the pistol's upgrdae will be a 100% accurate 3(4-5?)-shot burst, so it'll work as a small help at large distances.Deii wrote:Glad if I could help! Heh, fair enough. I just really like the way the burst rifle looks, functions and sounds.

Love the visuals. Definitely keep on working on it and updating it if you still have the time or passion for it!
