Did nobody notice yet that the shotgun with mods has DOOM 4's HUD on the sprite?

With a fullscreen HUD you don't notice it that much, especially in combat, but it's still irritating and I hope it gets fixed.

-X weapons
-Russian overkill
-Project SMX and Project SMX extra badass monsters pack.
And I think the heavy assault rifle needs a different shooting sound
I was testing the mod on Zandronum and it's very good but for PvP I think you need to enable the auto switch when you pick up a weapon (This works so far and good for bots dificulty) in all the matches they always are using pistols and fists

It's fine, but please try to do Not put hexen or heretic monsters it's weird, like to put a dragon in the 2067 lol

I'm curious, does the two-year rule apply to Doom games? I'm not saying that it should (or that it should apply to any game, period), but Doom 4 IS very, very new, and I'm pretty sure the purpose is to prevent new games from being emulated (for free) in the id Tech 1 engine for the purposes of not cutting into the market share of modern games. This may not apply to, say, Determination and sans, since they don't directly emulate Undertale, but translate it into an unconventional (three-dimensional, first person) format, but someone could realistically remake Doom 4 with the original Doom engine, and I don't really know what id's stance on this would be. Still, it's worth asking id if this mod is copacetic, since a proper-enough emulation could quite possibly push people to forgo D4 (and its price tag) for an accurate replication in an open-source, free engine. Again, I have no qualms about it personally (I probably won't buy D4 - too much BD pandering, if you ask me), but someone who feels they have something to lose (read: id Software, possibly) may not approve so much.
Then again, if wildweasel hasn't said anything about it, it's probably not an issue, and if the two-year-rule has been revised/overturned, disregard the miniature wall of text above.

As far as X-Weapon/Helsturm is concerned, anyone can do anything with the resources if credit is provided to the proper sources (read: the people I credit for X-Weapon's resources, not necessarily myself, unless applicable). Not that they're being used, but if they were, that's my position as a modder. Of course, I can't speak for loismustdie555 (Project Brutality), PillowBlaster (Russian Overkill), or MagSigmaX (Project MSX), but if someone wants what X-Weapon's got, I don't mind - just, you know, due credit and all.wildweasel wrote:But please, if you're planning on doing that, ask the authors first. Tested with current builds of both GZdoom and Zdoom.
Using DOOMEmulationMonstersv06.pk3 with or without DOOMEmulationWeaponsv06.pk3 crashes both GZdoom and Zdoom - same script error as NullWire mentions above.
DOOMEmulationWeaponsv06.pk3 on its own works great in both for the most part, with the sole exception of some off-center crosshairs (see screenshot).
Otherwise, I love it, DAMN nice weapons. And the new splash screen with original art is very cool.
