really loving this mod, the weapons feel so great to use, and it goes will with ketchup doom
i hate to ask, but do you have a version without the monster randomiser?
and a question about the slot 8 weapons, do they all function as railguns in doom 4?

Can you change one thing in Gauss Canon that when the beam hits a demon
its blows demon to pieces like Rocket Launcher or BFG?

Hey, it seems this is based on doomero's doom 3 mod (i may be wrong) so i would like to tell you that while i tried this mod and it is very solid work specially taking in count the stuff you had to work with, i would really like if someone could make new captures for the doom 3 mod with 16:9 aspect ratio.

Suggestions for improvement:
- Narrow the HUD so I can play it with the aspect ratio off.
- Remove the OP monsters (especially the other imps since their fireballs do too much damage)
- Just stick to one class (why so many classes for each weapon?)

Anyone else getting this? Screenshot of the February 7 gzdoom 2.2 build.
Maybe I'm doing something dumb? I just drag/drop the .pk3 to the exe. Any advice would be welcome.
Okay, got it working fine in the February 1 2.1 build but the HUD is in the middle of the screen. Getting there!
Okay, things are definitely looking up - in the Options > Display Options I just increased the default screen size from 10 to 11, and I got the new HUD at the bottom left and right of the screen. Having big fun with the mod now!

basically they do,but each have different functionality ,the static cannon needs to be charged, the vortex zoomed fire is 2x powerful but needs charge,and the Gauss cannon( my personal favorite) is extremely powerful. oh and there will be a no monsters version. thanks for the feed back

- the hud will be fixed for 4:3,itll replace the default bar (which didnt work out in this version)
- the op monsters have been nurfed
- the classes are for multiplayer,as doom 4 has loadouts

Important thing to note is when I try to use the automap , the status bar gets in the way of the map instead of the bottom.
Also, I can still see the Doom 4 HUD on some of the weapon images - can you blur or crop them out?

The imps that explode into more imps is cool, but I think it shouldn't happen if you gib them with explosives or maybe kill them with plasma/BFG shots.

Wow this is magnificent! And I love how well the frame blending was preserved on your rips! And I also love how generous you were with the scale of the sprites! Very nice!!! Anywho, I believe I've come across a minor bug. Although, I imagine you've either already fixed it by now or at the very least come across it. Just in case: whenever the pistol is fired, it leaves everything bright until you fire another bright weapon. This wad was the only one I was using when I experienced this but I still can't help but wonder if it's still something on my end so that's why I ask.

im gonna be 100% honest with you
after playing it more, and especially after looking at some of the weapon animation leaks, this just... feels like brutal doom lite. too much style and code reliance on BD and its now kinda killing the joy of it all

not defending bd just curious why it kills the joy? there where and are things in BD that not only worked well for emulation but are basically in doom 4 anyway,like gore and a melee, so implementing things from BD to emulate doom 4 was only logical. why does it kill the joy?
