If someone made a mod where every effect from bloodsplats to projectile sprites was replaced with that halo sprite and called in CaligariDoom, we could possibly make up the difference.

I had some kid on a Spanish Doom site steal a very old version of Lizard Squad (this might have even been back when it was still called "The Exterminator") to make their mod a couple years ago. It was both weird and amusing.

What's the proper way to include credits when an asset (sprite set in this case) is taken from a mod with many collaborators in the credits list but no specification on who made the sprit set in question? Right now I have a list like: [actor] sprites taken from [...].wad, made by one of these people: [...]. Is that fine?
I have permission of use from the primary wad author.

I'm not sure, considering there's so many mods I haven't played, including most of yours I'm betting someone imported them to another mod (maybe Beautiful Doom?), someone else credited that mod, then someone credited that mod, etc.

I sent a guy a BETA of my mod to play test, and he made a modified version of it and leaked it to loads of people, and they were all playing my broken, unfinished mod with his custom crud slapped on top when I had a finished version made on my computer.. I decided to not release it atall and let them keep that one. lesson learned.
