The hanging corpses are blocking movement, which I wonder if it may be because you have them set to be shootable for gory fun, but they block movement.Dr_Cosmobyte wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 10:08 amThanks! But what issue you're having with hanging corpses?Shatter-Thought[V-4] wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 10:29 pm I would really like to see the hanging corpse decor items being solid be resolved as a number of maps use them to decorate passageways that are meant to be passable through them, maybe even having them be destructible for a bit of gory goodness, but passable at the least like normally.
This is one of my favorite mods of all time!

Huh, I don't remember replacing decorations other than the DeadMarine, which is the spawn spot of the helper dog, but I'll double check my code. In the meantime, try seeing if your autoload has a mod that replaces decorations

Hi! Ever since the overhaul, Aracnocide stopped working on (very obsolete) ports such as Zandronum and older GZDoom (or even ZDoom, i don't remember ever testing) versions. However, if you have a low-end PC, Aracnocide runs flawlessly on LZDoom, so i would like to ask you to try it.

How do I reduce the size of the HUD?
The scaling options in the menu don't seem to do anything.

Well, I don't think there's a better way to do that other than tweaking your resolution.

No matter what I change it to, it still stays the same absolute size on my screen.Dr_Cosmobyte wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 9:58 am Well, I don't think there's a better way to do that other than tweaking your resolution.
You're the dev, right? can't you make the hud look at the scaling options in the settings? I like the hud style, it's just too big on my screen.

Yes, I'm the dev, and no, I'm not competent enough to get around this because SBARINFO is an outdated syntax thing and pretty hacky. Sorry.
Actually, on second thought, it has more to do with me.

How am I supposed to use Luc's hornet nest? Sure, it has fixed spread, but between the hexagonal firing pattern and the abysmal reload rate I find it hard to justify using over tapping with the revolver or 40mm long range and blasting with an actual shotgun in the short range.

Re: ARACNOCIDE 2.7 (Updated 03/Sep/23)
The Hornet's Nest is a bit against the grain in that regard. Since it fires multiple projectiles at the same time, there's a high chance it'll force a pain state on monsters. If you use that to your advantage, you can stun a monster with it, switch to a different weapon such as a shotgun or a heavy pistol and lay down the damage.

Is there any way to disable the doggos?

Thanks for that! The only other issue I found is that after the "all enemies are killed" jingle is played, the regular map music doesn't play and that when killed with the buzzsaw 34 out, the game gets stuck in a loop of trying to lower the gun

Hi there! The music ending after the jingle is probably intentional, given my usage of code;
But the Buzzsaw bug is something i need to check out. Thanks for the feedback!

If Its not too much work, is it possible to make it an option to remove the jingle?
