Okay, thanks. Slade 3 can't recognize .gdv though. How can I open those?

Take a look at the "GDV Player" section. Keep in mind that the suggested -z0 parameter doesn't seem to work well for all the files(expecially the menu-related ones I extracted), in case that happens try playing the video without the -z0 parameter, and if it still doesn't work just launch the exe without any parameter to see the available options, then play around with those until the video you're trying to play is reproduced correctly

The sound 042.wav on your Witchaven file is wrong, they are supposed to be two different sounds, but in your file they are kept as one sound
Btw? it would be cool if you could release a full pack of sounds from Witchaven 2, since they still seem to be unavaiable anywhere (Just remember to include all sounds, because there were small differences on certain ones)

If you're going to do a re-rip of the Witchaven/Witchaven II sounds, make sure to do a proper extraction instead of the old "load the whole archive in an audio editor and cut them apart manually" way, as that's been obsoleted:

If, on the other hand, JOETOOLS isn't extracting some of the sounds properly for whatever reason, let me know so I can see about fixing it.

Has anyone ever tried ripping the sounds, music sprites and textures from Island Peril?

Other game suggestions you may be interested in are:
Fortress of DR Radiaki,
ShadowCaster
Star Trek Generations

This little link will show you some even more obscure FPS games of the 1990s that you might've never heard of, (maybe)
Most of these are also sprite based, and were for DOS/Windows.
